Following a lively AGM which was held at the Electricity Club on the 20th of June, the priorities and future directions of CRCC was decided (minutes to follow shortly). The AGM also elected a new Committee for the 2008-09:

Membership

To keep CRCC going every Clwb member pays £13 per month. This money pays for pitches, referees, food after each game, buses, shirts, balls, tour 'bevs' etc.

Membership numbers are however falling and as such we need a concerted effort to boost numbers to ensure the future success of CRCC. We all know people who can play but have been bewitched by the unholy practice of Saturday shopping/sofa surfing. Now is an ideal time to persuade boys back to training. All it takes is for 10 new players to start playing and any worries about having numbers for two teams on a Saturday disappear.

In addition to attracting new faces some of the club's more established members (you know who you are!!) are still not paying their monthly subs and as such the rest of us are subsidising their membership. Clwb treasurer Rhys Ap and his faithful companion Dafydd 'Shurmantor' Shurmer will be going through the accounts with a fine tooth comb over the next few weeks to identify people who play but don't pay. Avoid being publicly shamed on e-mail and drop Rhys a note to sort out your direct debit!!!!

Sponsorship

In addition to membership money the club relies on sponsorship to ensure its survival. The club is always looking for new sponsors for whatever amount of cash. Pre season is an ideal time to identify new sponsors. As such can everyone use their personal and business contacts to make enquiries about possible sponsorship for the club? CRCC Stash

Clwb Treasurer and 'ookie' clobber dealer Rhys Ap William has sorted out some epic CRCC stash for the new season. Everyone who is a direct debit paying member will receive some smokin shorts, socks and a Clwb tie.
