Mae tymor 2025/26 wedi bod yn un hynod bleserus a llwyddiannus i D7 y Clwb, gyda datblygiad gwych wedi’i weld ar ac oddi ar y cae. O fis Medi hyd at sesiynau olaf y tymor, mae’r grŵp wedi parhau i ddatblygu eu sgiliau rygbi, eu hyder a’u gwaith tîm, gan gadw’r pwyslais ar fwynhau, cynnwys pawb a chwarae gyda gwên ar eu hwynebau.
Drwy gydol y tymor mae’r garfan wedi tyfu’n raddol, gyda chwaraewyr newydd yn ymuno ac yn setlo’n wych diolch i natur groesawgar y grŵp. Mae wedi bod yn arbennig o braf gweld cyfeillgarwch yn datblygu ar draws y tîm, ochr yn ochr â gwelliannau mewn pasio, tagio, cyfathrebu a dealltwriaeth o’r gêm.
Bu’r chwaraewyr yn cynrychioli’r Clwb yn arbennig ar draws rhestr brysur o gemau, gwyliau rygbi a sesiynau hyfforddi. Ymhlith uchafbwyntiau’r tymor roedd cymryd rhan mewn gwyliau rygbi ym Mharc yr Arfau Caerdydd cyn gemau Chwe Gwlad Cymru, Gŵyl Dydd Gŵyl Dewi London Welsh a Gŵyl District B Y Bont-faen. Roedd y digwyddiadau hyn yn brofiadau gwych i’r chwaraewyr ac yn creu atgofion arbennig i deuluoedd a hyfforddwyr fel ei gilydd.
Un o’r pethau mwyaf pleserus am y tymor fu gweld y ffordd gadarnhaol mae’r chwaraewyr wedi datblygu eu rygbi. Bu gwelliant amlwg mewn gwaith tîm a phasio, gyda’r chwaraewyr yn edrych fwyfwy i gefnogi ei gilydd a symud y bêl yn hyderus mewn gemau. Wrth i’r tymor fynd yn ei flaen, roedd dewis “Seren y Gêm” wythnosol yn mynd yn anos ac yn anos oherwydd yr ymdrech a’r datblygiad a ddangoswyd ar draws y garfan gyfan.
Mae diolch enfawr yn ddyledus i’r holl rieni a theuluoedd am eu cefnogaeth drwy gydol y tymor — o gemau bore cynnar a theithio i wyliau rygbi i helpu i greu awyrgylch mor gadarnhaol o amgylch y tîm bob wythnos. Diolch hefyd i’r hyfforddwyr gwirfoddol a’r chwaraewyr ieuenctid sydd wedi helpu gyda sesiynau yn ystod y flwyddyn.
Yn bwysicaf oll, mae’r chwaraewyr wedi mwynhau, gwneud ffrindiau a datblygu cariad gwirioneddol at rygbi a bod yn rhan o’r Clwb. Rydym eisoes yn edrych ymlaen at dymor cyffrous arall.

The 2025/26 season has been a hugely enjoyable and successful one for Clwb D7, with fantastic progress made both on and off the field. From September through to the final sessions of the season, the group has continued to develop their rugby skills, confidence and teamwork while always keeping the emphasis on enjoyment, inclusion and playing with smiles on their faces.
Throughout the season the squad has grown steadily, with new players joining and settling in brilliantly thanks to the welcoming nature of the group. It has been especially pleasing to see friendships develop across the team, alongside improvements in passing, tagging, communication and game awareness.
The players represented Clwb superbly across a busy fixture list including regular matches, festivals and training sessions. Highlights included taking part in festivals at Cardiff Arms Park before Wales Six Nations matches, the London Welsh St David’s Day Festival and the District B Festival in Cowbridge. These events provided brilliant experiences for the players and created some fantastic memories for families and coaches alike.
One of the most pleasing aspects of the season has been the positive style of rugby the players have developed. There has been a clear improvement in teamwork and passing, with players increasingly looking to support each other and move the ball confidently in matches. Choosing weekly “Seren y Gêm / Star of the Match” awards became more difficult as the season progressed due to the effort and development shown across the whole squad.
A huge thank you must go to all the parents and families for their support throughout the season — from early morning kick-offs and festival travel to helping create such a positive atmosphere around the team every week. Thanks also to the volunteer coaches and youth players who have supported sessions during the year.
Most importantly, the players have had fun, made friends and developed a real love for rugby and being part of the Clwb. We’re already looking forward to another exciting season ahead.
Diolch yn fawr bawb!
