Ry'n ni'n ceisio annog chwaraewyr Dan 11 CRCC i wneud penderfyniadau yn annibynol ar y cae. Mae'r datblygiad yn amlwg ar foreau fel hwn.
Erbyn hyn mae'r holl garfan yn gwybod beth yw'r opsiynau pan ddaw'r bêl atyn nhw - pasio, rhedeg, mynd i'r llawr (ond dim cicio!). Rhaid edrych lan, ystyried yn gyflym beth sydd orau, a mynd amdani.
Efallai nad oedd pob penderfyniad yn gywir yn erbyn Y Tyllgoed, ond roedd yr hyfforddwyr wrth eu boddau yn gweld y plant yn cymeryd cyfrifoldeb ar y cae gan amrywio'r chwarae yn hyfryd ar adegau.
Pan oedd lle yn llydan, mi wnaethon ni basio i'r esgyll. Os oedd llinell amddiffynol gref, roedd 'na rhediadau syth a chryf.
Ar gae trwm, sgoriodd Clwb geisiau bendigedig. Ac mi roedd yr amddiffyn, ar y cyfan, yn gadarn wrth i sawl gwrthwynebydd gael eu tarro 'nôl yn y dacl.
Ry'n ni hefyd wedi sôn dros yr wythnosau diwethaf am bwysigrwydd cefnogi ein gilydd, ac mi roedd hi'n arbennig clywed yr eilyddion yn annog eu ffrindiau o'r ystlys.
Roedd hwn yn berfformiad penigamp, ar, ac oddi ar y cae.
Bydd 'na sesiwn ymarfer nos Wener yn Gôl, ac ma' disgwyl gêm oddi cartref yn Llanharan ddydd Sul nesaf - manylion i ddilyn yn ystod yr wythnos.
..........
We are trying to encourage the CRCC Dan 11 players to make independent decisions on the pitch. The progress is clear to see on mornings like this.
By now the whole squad know what their options are when they get the ball - pass, run, go to ground (but no kicking!). They should look up, consider quickly what best to do, and go for it.
Not all decisions were correct against Fairwater, but the coaches were delighted to see the children take responsibility on the field, varying their play beautifully at times.
When there was space out wide, we passed to the wings. If the defensive line was organised, there were strong direct runs.
On a heavy pitch, Clwb scored some fantastic tries. And the defence was, on the whole, solid as many opponents were driven back in the tackle.
We have also spoken over recent weeks about the importance of supporting each other, and it was lovely to hear the substitutes encouraging their friends from the touchline.
This was a great performance, on, and off the pitch.
There will be a training session at Gôl on Friday, and we're expecting an away fixture at Llanharan next Sunday - details to follow during the week.
Ymlaen!
